Group TREASURE has proven its hot global popularity by achieving 1 billion streams on Spotify.

YG Entertainment announced on the 29th that TREASURE has surpassed a total of 1 billion streams on Spotify for the music released since their debut in 2020.

The trend has been steep since the recent release of their new album. Starting with T5 unit's 'MOVE' in June, followed by their second full album 'REBOOT' in July and the subsequent track 'B.O.M.B (kaboom ver.)', their active engagements have led to a rapid increase in Spotify followers and streaming numbers.

Thanks to the popularity of their second full album, earlier released songs are also gaining momentum. The track '다라리 (DARARI)' from their first mini-album, despite being released around two years ago, has surpassed 200 million streams as of the 13th of last month (local time), and the title track of this album, '직진 (JIKJIN),' is nearing 100 million streams.

It's noteworthy that on Spotify, a massive platform used by over 400 million people, the growth trajectory has been consistent each year. TREASURE ranked in the top 10 most streamed K-pop boy groups last year (based on Spotify's calculations). Moreover, this year alone (2023.01.01~2023.11.28), they have recorded over 390 million streams, significantly surpassing last year's figures, indicating promising prospects ahead.

Recently, TREASURE recorded a sold-out large-scale fan meeting tour across five cities in Japan, totaling 19 shows, culminating in a spectacular finale at the 'Dream Stage' known as the Tokyo Dome. With this momentum, they are set to hold the '2023 TREASURE CONCERT [REBOOT] IN SEOUL' from December 15th to 17th at the KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park (Olympic Gymnastics Arena), meeting their fans.
