The stock price of JYP Entertainment (035900, hereafter JYP) has significantly risen.

JYP closed at 104,400 won on the KOSDAQ market on the 19th, up 7.85% (7,600 won) from the previous trading day.

On the 15th, JYP announced the birth of a new 7-member boy group called 'NEXZ' through the 'Nizi Project' Season 2.

NEXZ, the protagonists of the joint audition program 'Nizi Project' Season 2, presented by JYP in collaboration with Sony Music, Japan's largest record company, includes members Yuu, Tomoya, Haru, Ken, Seita, Yuuhi, and Yuuki, recognized for their dance skills, vocal abilities, star quality, and sincerity.

NEXZ is expected to be active in Japan and Korea based on JYP's training system and Park Jin-young's producer know-how, who launched several popular K-pop groups. They gained sensational popularity in Japan through 'Nizi Project' Season 1 in 2020 and recently achieved a successful debut in Korea with the single album 'Press Play,' following the successful path of NiziU.

Furthermore, JYP will release ITZY's new album 'BORN TO BE' on January 8, 2024. On February 24-25, ITZY will hold a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium and embark on their second world tour.

Lee Junho, who has made a mark as an actor and singer domestically and internationally, also under JYP, will host a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on January 13-14, 2024.

Previously, Lee Junho held a solo arena tour in Japan in July-August and released a special single 'Can I' to commemorate his 10th debut anniversary in Japan. Starting from October, he successfully conducted solo fan meetings in 8 regions across Asia, beginning with Taipei.
